Service and Safety Terms – Sup Regatta

1. Bookings and Starting the Service

Bookings for Sup Regatta services can be made online at  Sup Regatta, on-site, by phone, or by email. Group bookings must be made by email. Customer information is used only for Sup Regatta operations.

The person making the booking or the company they represent (“customer”) is responsible for the booking and agrees to these service and safety terms.

All bookings are binding and must be paid in full. In case of illness, private customers may move their booking if Sup Regatta is informed by phone at least 12 hours before the booking starts during the summer season:

Customers must arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before the booking starts, unless otherwise instructed.


2. Insurance

Sup Regatta services do not include insurance.

Customers are responsible for having their own accident insurance that also covers water sports activities. Sup Regatta recommends that all customers and users check their insurance coverage before participating.


3. Swimming Skills and Age Limits

All Sup Regatta activities require basic swimming skills according to the Nordic swimming standard. This means the participant must be able to swim 200 meters continuously, including at least 50 meters on their back.

Children under 12 years old must always be accompanied by an adult guardian who is responsible for the child during the activity.

Participants under 18 years old must provide guardian contact information when booking.

Users must wear the required safety equipment, such as life jackets.


4. Sup Regatta Responsibilities and Liability Limitations

Sup Regatta provides high-quality and wellness-focused water sports and exercise services.

Sup Regatta ensures that equipment and activity areas are in proper condition and safe for use. Equipment and surroundings are checked daily.

Sup Regatta is not responsible for personal injuries, property damage, or accidents involving customers, users, or their belongings unless caused by serious negligence by Sup Regatta.

Sup Regatta is not responsible for damage or injuries caused by incorrect use of equipment or failure to follow staff instructions, written rules, or safety standards.


5. Customer Responsibilities

By making a booking, the customer accepts these service and safety terms.

The terms are available at the customer service point, on the Sup Regatta website, and in the online store.

Customers must register their visit through customer service before using the services.

All users must behave respectfully toward others, follow all instructions given by Sup Regatta staff, and pay special attention to safety.

Most gift cards and package cards are valid for one year from the purchase date.


6. Cancellation of Services by Sup Regatta

Sup Regatta may change services and opening hours depending on customer numbers and weather conditions.

If weather conditions affect safety, Sup Regatta has the right to stop or cancel activities.

In cases of dangerous weather, power outages, fire, major water damage, or other Force Majeure situations, customers are not entitled to refunds for interrupted or unused services.

Sup Regatta will always try to offer a new booking time for activities canceled because of weather conditions.

Sup Regatta may also change the timing of activities, courses, or tours based on the instructor’s safety evaluation.

Customers will usually be informed about cancellations at least two days before the course starts.

Sup Regatta may cancel private bookings due to overlapping events no later than 7 days before the booking begins.


7. Services for Companies and Groups

Sup Regatta offers customized experiences for companies, groups, and communities. These services also follow the terms in this section.

An agreement is made when the customer accepts Sup Regatta’s offer or places an order for an event.

Company groups may also pay by invoice. The invoice is due on the event day. An invoice fee of €10 will be added. Billing information must be provided when confirming the booking.

Group events can be canceled free of charge up to 30 days before the event.

If canceled less than 30 days but more than 14 days before the event, Sup Regatta will try to offer a new date.

If canceled less than 14 days but more than 72 hours before the event, 50% of the total price will be charged.

If canceled less than 72 hours before the event, the full price will be charged.

Unused services are non-refundable.

Sup Regatta may cancel an event due to Force Majeure or unsafe conditions. In such situations, refunds are not guaranteed, but Sup Regatta will try to offer a new booking time.

The final number of participants for guided activities must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event.

Services do not include a right of return.

These service and safety terms are valid until further notice.


8. Sup Regatta Safety Terms

To ensure safe participation, all customers and users must carefully read and follow these safety terms.

Customers are responsible for reading and following all service and safety instructions. Sup Regatta staff can provide additional information if needed.

Customers and users understand that SUP boarding, kayaking, and other activities involve risks that may lead to serious injury.

Weather and water conditions, including waves, wind, and sea conditions, may change suddenly.

Participants must meet the Nordic swimming standard and be able to swim at least 200 meters continuously, including 50 meters on their back.

Users must understand their own physical condition and skill level and avoid activities that are too difficult for them.

Customers confirm that they are in good physical health and do not have any medical condition that could affect participation or safety during activities.

Customers must inform the instructor about any relevant conditions, such as asthma, previous injuries, diabetes, severe allergies, contact lenses, or hearing aids.

Users must not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs and may not use them during the activity.

Customers participate voluntarily and are responsible for returning all rented equipment in the same condition as received.

Customers and users confirm that they have read and understood these service and safety terms and agree to follow them and all instructions given by Sup Regatta staff.

Participants understand that warming up before activities is recommended.

If customers have questions after receiving instructions, it is their responsibility to ask staff for more information.
